Information about Preschool and Children’s Ministry Certification Programs
Janice Haywood and Samuel Cartledge (older childJanice Haywood is the lead professor for several Preschool and Children’s Certification programs. The certification consists of six courses (30 class hours each) completed over a three-year period. Some are offered through accredited divinity schools and some are not.
 
The purpose of the certification is to help ministers/leaders improve the quality of their ministry with preschool and/or grade-school children and to explore ideas and resources from educators as well as experienced preschool and children’s ministers. Courses are taught in both a weekly format (NC only) and a concentrated format in two weekends.
 
Application and acceptance are required for all certification programs.

Weekly classroom format on campus of Campbell University Divinity School,  Buies Creek, NC, or intensive format of two weekends per semester per course in a central NC location
